Fran Lucci
Singer/Songwriter
Early Career & The Holograms
A Jersey girl through and through, Fran Lucci grew up listening to Bruce Springsteen, whose writing had a profound effect on the budding artist. After studying musical theatre at Penn State, Fran moved to Los Angeles to pursue her music career. She was able to break through the noise upon teaming up with Danny Powers of the Michael Stanley Band. Together, Fran and Danny wrote songs for their band called The Holograms who signed a publishing deal with Warner Chappel Music. The Holograms also secured a record deal with German indie label Semaphor. The Holograms recorded Thank You Whatever Comes in a small villiage outside of Berlin and toured all over Germany as the opening act for Manifred Mann's Earth Band.
"Those were some fun times," recalls Fran. "My favorite moments were being taken up to the stage by the stage tech—it was pitch black and the only light came from the flashlight he carried. It was magical when the lights came up and we burst into song."
Solo Career
After touring with The Holograms, Fran signed a deal with legendary producer Phil Ramone and recorded some of her solo songs at his studio in Stamford, CT, and at Capital Records in Hollywood.
Today, Fran is a prolific songwriter and recording artist, with one of her songs recently featured in the FX/HULU series Love Story alongside the likes of Tom Petty and Madonna. As a result, there are nearly 200,000 streams of "Secrets" on Spotify. Fran is currently signed to Fervor Records and has several songs in Music Libraries with the intention of future synch license opportunities.
